Omaha Benson Robotics Competition Highlights.

Middle School
5233J finished in 11th place (6-3) after Q rounds and were eliminated in the quarterfinals!
5233M finished in 18th place (5-4) after the Q rounds and were also eliminated in the quarterfinals.
5233D finished in 33rd place (2-7) after a rollercoaster day!

All three middle school teams sit with a great chance to qualify for state via skills with only one more meet on there regular season schedule!

High School
8675A finished 4th (8-2) in qualifying and were chosen for the #2 seeded team.  They went on to win their division, upsetting the #1 seed and then went on to win the tournament by beating the other divisions champions!  Fuzzy Wuzzy 2.0 also finished as skills runner up and were awarded the “Excellence Award” as the best overall team.

8675B finished 14th (5-5) in their division and were eliminated in the quarterfinals.

8675C finished 9th (6-4) in the same division as 8675A and were chosen first by the #3 alliance.  They were beaten in the semifinals to the alliance that Fuzzy Wuuzy 2.0 was on.  Team 8675C, however, was awarded the Design Award – given to the team with the best Engineering notebook and attention to the design process!

8675D finished 16th (4-6) and was chosen by the #2 alliance in their division.  They made it to semifinals but were unable to make it to their division finals.

All four of the HS teams will be back in action in Mason City, IA this coming weekend!
